Christmas HAF: Open (Redcar & Cleveland), Adventure Activity Session

Prior to booking please read the below:

These days are for children aged 8-16 years; who are eligible for benefit related free school meals.   This event for for those who wish to drop their child/children at our site in Dunsdale (Rewilding Adventure, Redcar Road, Dunsdale, TS14 6RH); please drop them with us at 10.00am, and collect them at 2.00pm from the same location. The children will be engaged in outdoor adventure sports, including archery, axe throwing, rifle shooting and bushcraft.

These places are fully funded for children who receive benefits-related free school meals (see the link above for which benefits are included). Eligible children can attend 4 HAF sessions over Christmas.

Included within these sessions is healthy snack food/light lunch, which will be cooked by the children on the campfire. Please notify us of any allergies/intolerances, or dietary needs upon booking.

The places are funded for those in the Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council area; if you live outside of this area, then unfortunately we are unable to welcome you on these sessions (but there will be provision in your local authority area, as funding has been made available for every council in the UK)

To book, please follow these three steps:

1. Select the date(s) and number of places you’d like below, and then click the ‘Book Now’ button below (you will receive a booking email which says ‘processing‘- this means you have a place; please check your spam folder if it does not arrive)
2. See this link and complete a Participant Information Form including questions 14 and 15 (we need this information when your child is with us, as well as having to report numbers, ages, postcodes of children benefiting from this funding).
3. See this link for all Activity Information– including suggested clothing and site address (if you opt to drop your children off)
