NAVIGATION
Although there are GPS systems widely available, even on our hand-held phones, we still need to rely on a traditional map and compass.
By doing so we will be able to confidently and safely enjoy the great outdoors, including the hills and moorland of the North York Moors National Parks, as well as the remote areas and mountains across the UK.
Navigation can be skill learned young, or something that you can come to later in life- that’s why we offer something for everyone.
There is the option of individual navigation coaching, but the most popular courses are the introductory days and developmental coaching, as well as our night navigation evenings.
Young Navigators Session
These are aimed at the young adventurer who wants to be introduced to the concepts of maps, orientating the map, route planning and walking simple routes.
